TRC is seeking experienced Area Managers to support a wood product manufacturing client in North Carolina. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Area Manager maintains a stock of spare parts, tools, and ensures a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring process and product quality metrics are met.
- Meeting volume targets.
- Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
- Providing training and development to team members.
- Ensuring proper maintenance program in place.
- Driving continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or college degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience required.
- 5 years working in a manufacturing environment required.
- 2 years leadership experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical motors, pumps, fans, blowers, and conveyors required.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, crawling, and/or pulling for up to twelve hours a day.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in environments that reach temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees.
- Able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment.
