TRC’s client is a leader in commercial construction and general contracting looking for a Commercial Construction Project Manager to join their growing team on a full-time, direct hire basis in the Greensboro, NC area.

- Lead, manage, and direct commercial construction projects by planning, directing, and coordinating construction and financial activities ensuring safe completion on time and under budget.
- Manage financial contracts and procurement process, including invoices, subcontractor / vendor payments, etc.; purchase materials and equipment and establish project budget based on estimate information.
- Review submittals / RFIs and complete subcontracts and purchase orders for buyout process; obtain all required project permits.
- Develop a schedule to complete the project efficiently; create, update, and manage project schedule w/ Superintendents.
- Establish a work plan and staffing requirements for each phase of project; coach, mentor, and train all jobsite personnel.
- Communicate project updates, changes, and progress to stakeholders; facilitate project meetings ensuring clear and effective communication with all parties.
- Conduct inspections ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards; immediately investigate and address unsafe conditions and implement corrective measures.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
- 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Manager
- Prior work experience in construction management for commercial projects
- Proficiency with MS Suite, AutoCAD, Procore, etc.
- Willingness and ability to travel to projects sites in the Greensboro, NC and surrounding areas
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Exceptional leadership, communication, organization, and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in both independent and collaborative team-based environments
