Job Description:
This role involves performing inspections and repairs on production equipment, including gearboxes, pumps, air/hydraulic cylinders and lines, process rolls, reclaim and extrusion equipment, and utilities equipment such as air compressors and water chillers systems. You will also troubleshoot and repair 480 volt 3-phase motors and controls, diagnose and troubleshoot failures on equipment, and perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and servicing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical) in a production or heavy industrial environment. You should possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
