Job Description : Estimator – Construction Industry

About Us :

Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to provide accurate and comprehensive project cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of project scope.
• Determine cost factors, including labor, materials, and production, that influence overall project expenses.
• Prepare detailed material, labor, and cost estimates for projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Manage and evaluate bids from vendors and contractors for accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
• Use bid data and market trends to compile comprehensive cost analyses and forecasts.
• Present cost estimates and analysis reports to management and project stakeholders.
• Track and record actual project costs to ensure adherence to the budget.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, accountants, and operations personnel to deliver accurate financial and budget analyses.
• Assist in value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders

Compiling and recording actual costs
