TRC Talent Solutions is looking for Extrude Operator for our client in Villa Rica, GA
Job Details :
Hours : Night Shift - 7pm-1am 3 / 2 Schedule
Training : During day shift hours
Pay : $22-$24 based on experience
Job Responsibilities :
Operate Extrusion / Laminating line in order to :
Ensure safety
Perform to quality, waste, and production standards and goals
Communicate orally and / or in writing to other departments for resolution of mechanical problems, reporting defective material, coordination of job preparations, changeovers and daily shift information
Report production accurately and timely through Prism to include waste, WIP, time codes, raw materials, etc.
Ensure your own safety while operating the machine and that of those assisting with operations
Manage the duties of an assistant including, but not limited to :
Prepare printed rolls for lamination (primary unwind)
Prepare back stock rolls for lamination (secondary unwind)
Place rolls in machine and prepare for splicing (both unwinds)
Assist in removing rolls from rewind
Remove and weigh startup rolls at beginning of job
Keep box resins stocked and ensure wand is placed in resin
Clean NIP roll in machine during setup and downtime to prepare for startup
Perform daily housekeeping
Remove and weigh waste from both unwinds
Remove and weigh waste from rewind if necessary
Make waste bales when baler is full
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Preferably, one year of experience as an extruder assistant.
Proficiency in reading a tape measure accurately.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and follow directions.
Leadership skills to manage and guide team performance.
Punctuality and reliability.
Capability to obtain a forklift license and operate a forklift.
Basic computer skills.
Competence in basic math calculations.
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Successful completion of a physical examination, drug screening, and background check.
