Leadership & Project Support (10%)
- Act as a technical leader for a team of 25 engineers
- Assign tasks, mentor team members, and support sales efforts
- Estimate hardware costs and engineering efforts for project scope changes
- Analyze P&ID drawings and create instrument lists
- Evaluate and select temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters, flow meters, actuators, and other key devices
- Design control panels, compile hardware submittals, and procure materials
- Provide support for panel fabrication and inspections
- Lead customer design review meetings
- Configure user interfaces (HMI screens) and control algorithms (DDC, PLC, DCS)
- Perform functional and quality control testing
- Draft system documentation and support customer demonstrations
- Install software and configurations at customer sites
- Conduct point-to-point loop checks and software calibration
- Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and field modifications
- Train customers on system operation and maintenance
Experience with one or more of the following platforms:
- Rockwell Automation (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, FactoryTalk)
- Schneider Electric (Modicon, AVEVA, Citect, PI, Wonderware/Archestra)
- Inductive Automation Ignition
- Distech & Niagara
