TRC’s client is a leader in mechanical contracting, engineering, design, and construction looking for a Mechanical Designer on a full-time, direct hire basis in the Springfield, MA area.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Execute complete mechanical designs for design-build / design-assist projects ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project guidelines.
- Compile documents, including plans and specifications, for build by the project management team.
- Present means and methods of design and constructability to other designers, project management, and coordinator staff.
- Determine timelines for estimates, securing, and final design, ensuring clear communication to all involved parties.
- Conduct client site visits to understand needs / requests and complete estimations.
- Collaborate with project management and other teams to develop and improve engineering ideas.
