Operational Lead

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our team at TRC Talent Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a stock of spare parts and tools, ensuring a safe working environment, and improving upon processes to increase production and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a stock of spare parts and tools necessary for production, foreseeing potential issues and ensuring critical items are readily available.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Provide training and development opportunities to team members in your area.
• Ensure proper maintenance programs are in place and that all equipment is functioning properly.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance production and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, with 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical motors, pumps, fans, blowers, and conveyors required.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and apply lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, crawling, and/or pulling for up to twelve hours a day.
• Able to work around moving equipment and machinery.
• Able to pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
