We are looking for a Parts Development Supplier Quality Development Assistant Manager to work with a leader in EV manufacturing in Savannah, GA!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality assurance procedures.
Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure continuous improvement.
Collaborate with suppliers to enhance their quality management systems.
Provide technical support and guidance on quality control processes and problem-solving techniques.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present regular reports on supplier performance and quality improvements.
Implement and monitor quality assurance processes throughout the supply chain.
Support suppliers in continuous improvement initiatives and enhance their capabilities.
Participate in cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to supplier quality management.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
Other Responsibilities
Monitor and support preventing disruptions in supply chain to avoid impact
Work collaboratively with Engineering (R&D), Quality, and Production Planners.
Maintain up-to-date supply base information database.
Meet all other requirements as assigned.
Qualifications & Preferences
Required :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain, Finance or Accounting or related field from accredited university
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially Excel and PowerPoint, required.
