Senior Civil / Structural Engineer
A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Senior Civil / Structural Engineer to join its Charlotte Office. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structural design, perform engineering calculations, and analyze load requirements for industrial projects.
- Create design sketches, prepare construction documents, and ensure accuracy in specifications and engineering reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and construction personnel to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Ensure designs adhere to relevant building codes, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
- Determine appropriate construction materials such as concrete and steel, and review vendor submittals and testing reports.
- Assist with quantity take-offs, cost assessments, and risk evaluations to support project feasibility and budgeting.
- Address design challenges, optimizing solutions for structural integrity and efficiency.
- Communicate design concepts and engineering solutions to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and technical discussions.
