Wastewater Business Development Representative

Our client, an environmental services firm offering wastewater treatment and education services, is looking for a Wastewater Business Development Specialist to join their team. This is a direct hire role with travel involved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute lead generation and business development strategies
• Build and manage relationships at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives
• Present tailored wastewater treatment solutions to potential clients
• Collaborate with internal departments such as engineering, project management, and leadership to develop and deliver proposals
• Manage multiple sales cycles from initial contact through closing and hand-off
• Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to sales forecasting
• Travel to client sites as needed to support business development and relationship management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales within the industrial wastewater or treatment solutions industry
• Proven experience working with clients holding wastewater pre-treatment or NPDES permits
• Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with CRM systems and documentation practices
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships
