What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Structural Engineer, Structural Engineering Group position at TRC Worldwide Engineering Inc?
TRC Worldwide Engineering is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented problem-solver with a project management background who is committed to delivering high-quality projects.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Design of a wide variety of building structures utilizing concrete, steel, masonry, and wood construction. Structures can include commercial office buildings, multi-story residential developments, multi-story storage buildings, public sector buildings, and senior living facilities
- Create structural models using design software
- Monitor, manage and achieve assigned project deadlines
- Provide technical guidance
- Ensure that clients are completely satisfied with all aspects of engineering services
- Oversee construction administration activities on projects
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. Civil Engineering
- M.S Structural Engineering
- PE license
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in design of multi-story buildings at structural consulting firm(s)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in design using engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, RAM SS, ADAPT, and EnerCalc.
- Experience in Autocad and Revit drafting is a plus
Location: Brentwood, TN 37027: Must be able to reliably commute to and work at the office in Brentwood, TN.
