We are currently hiring for an experienced Credit Manager who will evaluate and oversee the credit-granting process for the company and ensure that there is a consistent application of company credit policy along with overseeing collections when accounts become delinquent.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Employee must pass a fitness for duty test, drug screen and submit to a TB test on a post offer employment physical.
- Manages credit and collection staff.
- Directs assigned tasks and provides assistance as needed.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations for direct reports.
- Identifies and tracks large accounts that have been deemed delinquent.
- Approves and releases orders based on customer credit lines.
- Review customer files and reports, evaluate financial statements and supplemental information, conduct investigations as required, assess the credit risk and make decisions to establish customer credit limits.
- Monitors and tracks invoice payment.
- Contacts clients to obtain payments; when necessary, negotiates new payment terms or settlements.
- Refers accounts to outside collection agency for further collection efforts as needed; assists with collections and legal actions pertaining to those accounts.
- Generates reports as requested from management.
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of state and federal laws pertaining to collection activities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- Ability to exercise integrity and discretion.
- Ability to remain professional in confrontational conversations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- High School Diploma, required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management, required.
- Five (5) years' experience in credit management, required.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while using a computer and phone.
- Ability to work in a temperature controlled and noise-controlled environment.
- The job is normally performed in a quiet environment; however, there can be unexpected, sudden loud noises, beeping backup alarms, flashing lights and sudden movements.
- Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds at times by lifting, pulling or pushing.
- Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds by reaching above the shoulders.
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Work environment is on site. Remote work not offered for this position.
- Pay range is $2,403.85 to $2,884.62 per week, based on experience and education level.
