Part-Time Weekend Trucking Dispatcher
Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: $15-$20hr

We're looking for a sharp and dependable dispatcher to help keep things running smoothly over the weekend.
Position Overview:
We're seeking a Part-Time Weekend Dispatcher to oversee operations on Saturdays and Sundays. You’ll be responsible for managing active loads, coordinating with drivers, handling trailer interchanges, and resolving any issues that come up during your shift. This role is crucial for keeping our freight moving and our customers satisfied—even on the weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch flatbed drivers for cross-border and domestic loads
- Monitor load progress and respond to updates or issues in real time
- Maintain constant communication with drivers and brokers
- Handle trailer interchanges accurately and efficiently
- Enter load updates and status reports in our dispatch system
- Coordinate with operations team for handoff before/after weekend shift
- Ensure DOT compliance and on-time delivery
- Handle emergency calls or escalations efficiently
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of dispatching experience (flatbed and/or cross-border preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple drivers
- Experience with dispatch software and basic computer skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Must be reliable and available to work every Saturday and Sunday on-site
