What are the responsibilities and job description for the Premium Audit Assistant position at Trean Corporation?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Premium Audit Assistant is responsible for assisting the premium audit department. They will handle the reception and data entry for the department. The position will also assist the physical auditors with scheduling and confirming audit appointments. While in this position, the assistant will also be trained on auditing rules as the foundation for the Premium Auditor position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer the phones and forward to the proper person within
- Data Entry
- Scanning and printing
- Physical audit scheduling and confirmation calls
- Learning Audit and Workers Comp rules
- Study the NCCI manuals
- Eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform the Premium Audit Assist job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. These requirements are representative, but not all-inclusive, of the knowledge, skill and ability required of the company Premium Audit Assistant.
- High school diploma
- One year office experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Some travel may be required
