RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a server it is essential that you maintain an energetic, friendly, polite and caring attitude at all times. It is your responsibility to see that each guest is made to feel special and enjoys our fun atmosphere. One of the most important skills to have as a cocktail server is the ability to communicate with the guests in a friendly manner. You should have a good memory so that you can remember orders, faces and names. A server should always be aware of how much alcohol a guest is consuming to make sure that a guest does not become intoxicated.
- Receives beverage orders directly from guests.
- Places orders to the bartenders in the proper calling order.
- Observes all alcohol awareness rules when serving the guests.
- Observant and aware of guest needs at all times.
- Maintains the highest level of sanitation, personal grooming and personal conduct at all times.
- Has knowledge of cocktails, beer, wines and pricing of all beverages
- Maintains a clean section.
- Completes all side work – cleaning and stocking duties as outlined.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent guest service experience. Friendly and polite
- Alcohol Awareness
- Must be 21 years of age
- Excellent job performance
- Able to wear the Treasure Bay cocktail uniform
LICENSE / PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand and be upwardly mobile for periods of up to four hours in length. Must have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and have the ability to lift bus pans and trays frequently weighing up to 25 pounds. The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal communication, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills.
