Cafe Cashier / F&B Attendant II
Full-time / Part-time
Starting at $13 / hr
Shifts - Flexible (Monday through Friday) (Weekends) (Overtime as needed) (Day, Night)
JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE : Café Cashier / F&B Attendant II DEPARTMENT : Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO : Food & Beverage Lead POSITIONS REPORTING TO THIS POSITION : None
POSITION SUMMARY :
Ensures an accurate accounting of all transactions. Receives cash bank from the Cage and sets up drawer. Counts bank at end of the night. Collects cash, comps, coupons, and
money for orders and provides change for cash transactions.
TASKS :
1. Responsible for all cash transactions at beginning and end of shift.
2. Greets guests as they enter and exit; and answer the phone for inquiries / orders.
3. Verifies all coupons, comps for dates and verifies comps.
4. Prepares baked goods, washes baking utensils, sets up salad bar.
5. Removes trash from Café
6. Other tasks as assigned by Food & Beverage Lead or Manager.
CERTIFICATION / LICENSES : Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid US Virgin Islands Food Handler’s card; and must be able to obtain a US Virgin Islands Gaming Work
Permit / License.
EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED :
High School graduate or GED. Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES :
The following activities are normally required to perform these functions : Stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal
communication, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills. Must have ability to remain stationary for periods of up to four hours in length, be able to bend and stoop on occasion.
HAZARDS :
Includes, but are not limited to : back strain, high noise levels, exposure to crowds.
