REPORTS TO: Director of Facilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine maintenance and general engineering per shift assigned.
- Maintain radio and phone communication contact with crewmembers during your assigned shift.
- Replace plumbing fixtures throughout property to ensure proper function.
- Troubleshoot and repair any and all equipment in Casino area excluding gaming.
- Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs.
- Re-lamp throughout property as necessary.
- Responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Management.
- Maintains equipment and logbooks.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on applicable equipment.
- Ensures that all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat and orderly at all times.
- Keeps informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods.
- Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention.
- Performs assigned duties during emergencies.
- May be required to come in on any shift as facility or emergency requires.
- Must be able to transcribe written and/or verbal instructions.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
High school graduate or equivalent. Must have repair knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and familiar with HVAC systems. Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills, and communication skills. Ability to communicate with 2 way radio. Forklift and equipment experience helpful. High degree of ambulatory mobility to enable person to respond to any type of emergency situation or service call.
LICENSE / PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: stand, walk, bend,
reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal communication, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills. Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb, kneel, stoop and crouch.
