REPORTS TO: Director of Facilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair, install, and maintain electrical wiring, circuits, machinery, appliances, and equipment.
- Repair incandescent and fluorescent lights, receptacles, and switches with working knowledge or 110/208/480 volts, 3 phase.
- Read, interpret, and update electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams. Report effects on load and balance to supervisor.
- Able to use hand and power tools in general electrical repair and installation work.
- Performs and observes preventive, routine, and emergency service on building’s electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and other miscellaneous equipment and tools.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance of ice machines, kitchen equipment, PTACS and other HVAC systems.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
HVAC Skills Required – HVAC Certification preferred. Three to five years of experience in refrigeration maintenance or related field. Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical equipment desired. Forklift experience helpful. Working knowledge of installation and repair of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Blueprint reading skills preferred. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Carpenter, Plumbing, Dry Wall and Painting experience helpful.
Electrician Skills Required - Two years of experience as HVAC assistant or equivalent. Working knowledge of National Electrical Code. Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams. Two years variable HVAC apprenticeship work.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception. Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb, kneel, stoop, and crouch to reach electrical wiring.
