POSITION TITLE: Dealer
DEPARTMENT: Table Games
DIVISION: Casino Operations
REPORTS TO: Pit Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY:
Conducts operation of assigned game according to the rules of the game, company standards and Gaming Commission Guidelines.
**MUST CURRENTLY HAVE OR BE ABLE TO OBTAIN MISSISSIPPI GAMING BADGE**
Responsible for providing a fun and exciting atmosphere for all patrons of Treasure Bay. A pleasant demeanor and a smiling face are job requirements.
TASKS:
- Exhibits a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Assists customers with rules of play.
- Exchanges currency for playing chips/tokens.
- Distributes correct payment to winning players and collects bets from losing players.
- Handles markers as approved by Pit Supervisor.
- Protects table bankroll.
- Other tasks as requested by management.
EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED:
High School diploma or G.E.D. 6 months experience as dealer. Strong math skills for computing payoffs. Excellent customer service skills.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: stand, reach, balance, read, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, manual dexterity.
HAZARDS:
Include but are not limited to: back strain/sprain, sore feet, cuts from broken glass, high noise levels, inhalation of cigarette smoke.
