Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations for patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate management plans.
- Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, spinal taps, and other necessary interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to minimize the risk of infection.
- Provide care in various settings including nursing homes, outpatient clinics, and during home visits as needed.
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric and geriatric care to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with relevant certifications.
- Experience working with children and geriatrics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in sonography techniques is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
