### Duties:
- Develop detailed design plans and specifications, including drawings and elevations.
- Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, functional needs, and budget constraints.
- Create and present design concepts, including floor plans, color schemes, furniture selections, and material choices.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the design vision is implemented accurately.
- Select and source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories that align with the design concept.
- Oversee the installation of design elements and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Provide guidance on space planning, layout optimization, and functionality improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in interior design techniques.
### Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proven experience working as an Interior Designer or a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Sketchup) for creating detailed drawings.
- Experience creating detailed Project Spec Books.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, materials, finishes, and furnishings.
- Experience in budgeting and cost estimation for interior design projects.
- Ability to communicate design concepts effectively through sketches, drawings, and presentations.
- Knowledge of lighting design principles and techniques.
- Experience in drafting construction documents is a plus.
### Qualifications:

- 2-3 years previous Designer experience within a professional Design Firm/environment.
- Strong sense of urgency.
- Strong AutoCAD experience
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office/Google Sheets including Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of precise budget management and concepts.
- Some working knowledge of project management platforms like Asana or other.
- Knowledge of finishes, materials, color selections and specifications between building materials and furniture/soft goods.
- Knowledge of design requirements/build order/specifications for residential properties.
- Ability to travel where required.
- Work independently, have reliable transportation, and owns a cell phone
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
