Specific Job Functions
- Greet and converse with guests to suggest or receive cocktail order in a timely manner.
- Efficiently prepare and serve cocktails to customers/ cocktail servers in pool area following the sequence of service standards set forth by management.
- Provide exceptional service to customers.
- Possess complete beverage knowledge of all products served.
- Ensure the correct glassware/stemware is used according to department standards.
- Check ID's if the guest appears to be under 30.
- Follow Alcohol Awareness techniques as needed.
- Adhere to all responsible alcohol serving requirements as dictated by the state.
- Handle monetary transactions at the point of sales system (cash, credit cards and room charges) in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Communicate with fellow employees and Managers regarding Guest requests.
- Consistently deliver exceptional service to every Guest while interacting in a professional manner.
- Possess a positive attitude towards the Guest and fellow employees to meet and exceed TI Pool standards.
- Know all aspects of our business and match it to the Guest's needs to exceed their expectations.
- Make positive eye contact with the Guest.
- Maintain alert posture, appearing approachable to Guests.
- Maintain utmost respect and courtesy for Guests at all times.
- Maintain professional and well-groomed appearance, posture and hygiene.
- Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and always insure the health and safety of our Guests and fellow employees.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with Clark County Health Standards.
- Maintains quality services standards with all guests by creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere while coordinating service requests.
- Prepare order to replenish stock at bar to pre-determined par levels.
- Work station must be maintained and left stocked and cleaned for the next shift.
- Possess the ability to work in a team environment.
- Maintain flexibility to perform other job-related tasks as deemed necessary by management.
- Be able to perform a task that requires standing and/or moving at a fast pace for periods of up to eight hours or longer.
- Communicate with Management to keep them informed of all special requests from a guest as well as any potential problems or concerns.
- Assist new employees with training and answering questions.
- Always be ethical and professional.
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
- Work special events as needed for the successful operation of department.
- Minimum one year’s experience in a high-volume hotel / restaurant experience required.
- High volume hotel/bar and restaurant experience preferred.
- Union Crafts (Pour) Card required.
- Good athletic physical condition/body strength necessary; must project a slender, toned/fit body image at all times.

- Must be available for publicity shoots, public appearances, modeling, other advertising, and promotional work as needed.
- Must have an excellent upbeat attitude and personality with the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of many Guests, while always maintaining a friendly and positive personality.
- Must be willing to work in a loud and smoke-filled environment.
- Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sun exposure.
- Pleasing personality and ability to communicate with customers.
- Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms.
- Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) laws required.
