What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSISTANT MANAGER BEVERAGE position at Treasure Island Las Vegas?
Overview :
It is the primary responsibility of the Assistant Manager Beverage to maintain high standards in Beverage Services and support the objectives of the Food and Beverage Division. The Assistant Manager supervises the Beverage department staff to ensure proper service to all customers. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. Specific Job Functions :
- Maintain staffing levels to ensure adequate departmental coverage at all times
- Maintain standards in quality of all beverage services
- Ensure efficiency of service through on-site monitoring on the casino floor and back of the house areas
- Communicate any departmental needs to the Beverage Manager
- Assist in maintaining company and departmental health and safety standards
- Complete appropriate reports for shift as required by Beverage Manager
- Maintain accurate and adequate employee records, ensure all employee relation issues are handled in a professional manner and issue commendations and disciplinary action as necessary
- Assist in overseeing orders and maintaining of par levels of inventory for each beverage outlet
- Reduce waste and breakage of all products by helping to maintain a safe working environment
- Conduct meetings and relay pertinent information to the staff before the start of the daily shift
- Ensure bar porters and bartenders have the necessary gaming permits before clocking in
- Ensure the cleanliness of all the bar areas
- Maintain adequate levels of products in each outlet
- Manage, monitor and mentor staff to ensure they are following proper policies and procedures
- Supervise casino floor, service bars, and all beverage outlets
- Achieve all service, financial, and human resource goals set forth by company executives
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
