What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSISTANT MANAGER RESTAURANT - STARBUCKS @ TI position at Treasure Island Las Vegas?
Overview :
It is the primary responsibility of the Assistant Restaurant Manager Starbucks @ TI to assist in the management of the restaurant operation. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
Specific Job Functions :
- Complete paperwork, daily reports and all other necessary financial analysis for the restaurant
- Order products and supplies for the restaurant
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and regular staff training meetings
- Manage and lead staff including hiring, scheduling, employee counseling and commendations
- Train all employees on steps of service, sequence of service and hold them accountable to the standards
- Ensure daily operational tasks are performed & completed
- Ensure all equipment is in working order
- Ensure all areas of the establishment are constantly maintained for cleanliness
- Practice all necessary sanitation methods to ensure all food safety standards are followed
- Communicate via e-mail in a professional manner and follow all computer use guidelines
- Ensure necessary tools are provided to staff
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and control budgeted labor costs
- Ensure all departmental & company policies are followed
- Assist Manager in achieving all service, financial and human resource goals set forth by the property executives
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
