Pay Rate : $14.25 an hour

SUMMARY : The digital content intern will support our digital marketing and content creation efforts. The intern will help create content for our social media platforms, assist with digital marketing campaigns, and support website updates. This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content production. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your department's guest service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Create compelling content for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Design and develop placement of online, digital displays, website, social media pages, email campaigns, and other multi-channel advertising support materials.
Collaborate with the development, strategy, scheduling, and maintenance of digital advertising on and off property.
Provide competitive and market research to assist in digital content strategies.
Gain an understanding of digital advertising strategies and analytics.
Create and analyze social media, web, and email reports.
Assist in the design of graphics for digital content.
Understand and implement social media storytelling.
Attend a variety of public relations and on-site events as a representative for Treasure Island Resort and Casino.
Specific duties for each intern may vary and are intended to provide a well-rounded perspective to satisfy internship requirements.

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge and Certification Required :

High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience.

Current enrollment in a 2 or 4-year post-secondary educational program pursuing a degree in a field of study related to the area where the internship is being performed.

Advanced understanding of social media platforms and trends.

Understanding the role of creating content for specific digital platforms - mobile, desktop, social, and email.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.

Skills Required :

Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Windows, SharePoint, and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac platform including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.

Accurate and detail-oriented.

Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills.
