Currents Supervisor

$22.50

* Hourly shift differential for swing and grave shifts *

$2.00 an hour additional for swing shift

SUMMARY: To oversee the day-to-day Currents and Island Perks operations.

• Hire, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff and conduct performance reviews
• Direct daily work activities and inspect completed work for conformance to standards
• Ensure superior service and cleanliness are provided
• Answer guests’ questions and address concerns
• Provide accurate and thorough record keeping of personnel, sales and labor
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all positions, policies and procedures
• Fill in for staff as needed including the point-of-sales system and handling cash and cash equivalents
• Communicate with staff and management
  
  

Required:

IDEAL CANDIDATES HAVE:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• One (1) year supervisory experience in a high-volume ala carte or equivalent style restaurant

• High attention to detail and accuracy
• High level organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Above average math skills
• Ability to work fast and efficiently
• Ability to independently complete multiple tasks under pressure
• Ability to control labor costs
  
  

Preferred:

• Computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), Windows XP and point-of-sales systems
