Server/Host

## Job Overview
We are seeking a Host/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping around the restaurant and doing multiple duties while on shift.

## Pay

The amount of pay per hour is the amount including tips and will vary.

## Duties
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and seat them promptly
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Take food and drink orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages to guests following proper etiquette and service standards
- Provide recommendations on menu items and provide accurate information about the dishes to enhance the guest experience
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and resolve any issues promptly and kindly
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food handling, preparation, and serving
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely, and accurate delivery of orders

## Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or family owned business setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-volume setting
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques is a plus

- Willingness to learn appropriate skills required for the position

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
