Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various medical settings, including clinics and hospitals, with experience in weight loss and hormone replacement therapy. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care, conducting physical examinations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment plans.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform procedures as required within the scope of practice.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a teaching hospital environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks.
- Stay updated on ICD-10coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the clinic or hospital setting.
- Manage Hormone Replacement Therapy and Weight loss patients.
- Must be willing to place hormone pellets.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure in Idaho.
- Experience in primary care and hormones therapy or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems; familiarity with eClinicalWorks is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
