Job Summary
The Child Care Center Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the Child Care Center, including staffing, budgeting, and program development.
- Develop and implement educational programs that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding child care operations.
- Supervise and mentor staff members to enhance their professional growth and effectiveness in the classroom.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to foster strong relationships and ensure their involvement in their child's education.
- Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make improvements as necessary.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children, staff, and visitors.
Experience
- A degree in Education Administration or a related field from a recognized university is preferred.
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting is essential.
- Previous experience in higher education teaching or administration is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
