Summary This position is located at Departmental Offices,Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility. This position is located in the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI) under the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (ODEIA), Office of the Deputy Secretary, at the Department of the Treasury. Responsibilities As a Business Analyst, you will : Serve as the principal advisor to the OMWI Director and senior level managers on planning, leading, coordinating, and evaluating the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices (DO) business diversity program. Plan, manage, and authoritatively implement major business industry program segments and independently executes multi-faceted agency responsibilities and functions. Lead projects to identify information needs used to develop and carry out appropriate technology strategies to support business processes and provide technical assistance and advisory support for implementation of the processes Requirements Conditions of Employment Key Requirements : Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National. A one-year probationary period may be required. Must successfully complete a background investigation. Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required. Qualifications You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes : - Developing authoritative and targeted training teaching the minority-owned and women-owned businesses community how to seek federal contracting opportunities; AND - Working with a team to develop requirements for custom business solutions within collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint); AND - Creating tools to eliminate barriers and help increase the competitiveness of the minority-owned and women-owned business vendor community; AND - Preparing recommendations to senior management as to the best implementation approach for new programs, policies, and enhancements to the utilization of minority-owned and women-owned businesses The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. TIME-IN-GRADE : In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable : For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks. TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT : Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
