About the role

TWE seeks an experience Vineyard Foreman to provide direct supervision of the Vineyard team. This position will work to delegate daily operations and manage all aspects of vineyard management including, equipment, facilities, new projects, farming activities (pruning, tying, suckering, training, planting, wire repair and placement, cultivation, weed control, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and assigns farming duties and oversees all work activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of all vineyard equipment to secure proper working order.
• Enforces safety regulations, policies and procedures to workers.
• Will keep accurate records for labor hours, inventory, repairs, and vineyard management (frost, irrigation, pesticide, etc.)

About you

• You have 5 years of experience in vineyard work.
• Class C California Driver’s License required
• Should have demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to work nights and weekends and overtime.
• Ability to work autonomously
• Organized and able to follow projects through to completion

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $29 to $31.75 per hour. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of Paso Robles, CA. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
