Day in the Life of a Senior Financial Analyst
Drive and maintain financial reporting models, framework, and presentation formats.
Support the finance team in the design, maintenance, and presentation of annual budgets, forecasting, and expense management processes
Monthly financial reporting preparation and variance reviews
Prepare analytical models for new business and/or service-line; explore cost savings projects, capital project evaluation, competitive analyses, and payor profitability.
Assist with account special projects as needed
Assist accounting with month-end close process, inclusive of journal entry review and/or preparation
Location
Remote with some travel to Corporate monthly/quarterly as needed (Greenville, SC).
Education and Requirements
Exposure to large dataset management and model development with some experience with cloud data warehouse and enterprise data analytics platforms.
Fluent with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
Demonstrated experience supporting key business decisions through detailed analytics.
Experience with Sage Intacct, Great Plains / MS Dynamics, or comparable enterprise accounting information system.
Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management and/or revenue recognition, a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly detailed-oriented, and demonstrated organizational skills
3 to 5 years of minimum experience in accounting, corporate finance, business analytics, or a related discipline. Healthcare experience a plus.
BA/BS in accounting, finance, or related discipline required.
