LPN Nurse Inpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment
Location: Columbus, OH
Salary: Hourly pay up to $35 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
About Us: We are a 52 bed inpatient health care provider dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse. Our facility offers a supportive and nurturing environment where patients can find healing and regain control of their lives. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated night nurse to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and supervision to patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals.
- Monitor and assess patient health status throughout the night, including vital signs and withdrawal symptoms.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, observations, and interventions.
- Draw labs and prepare lab requisitions.
- Inventory and log medications received to patient inventory.
- Ensure the safety and security of patients during the night shift.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment that promotes recovery and well-being.
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in Ohio
- Minimum 3 years of experience in nursing, preferably in addiction treatment or mental health.
- Demonstrated knowledge of substance abuse and withdrawal symptoms.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions during overnight shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward individuals in recovery.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as required.
