What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fiscal Specialist position at TREC- BADLANDS HEAD START?
TREC-Badlands Head Start is looking for a person interested in working as a Fiscal Specialist in Belle Fourche, SD. This individual performs all required duties to ensure accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and employee payroll. Follows and implements Head Start fiscal and Uniform Guidance standards. Works with the Executive Director in the development, implementation and monitoring of the grant budget. Responsible for procurement process, purchase orders, payments, personnel and budget projections, bank reconciliations, inkind, federal reports, inventory updates, and fiscal audit. Works closely with the CPA and Insurance Agent. Responsible for fiscal policies and procedures and updating the Fiscal Manual. A degree in Accounting or Business and minimum of 2 years’ experience are required. TREC-Badlands Head Start offers further educational opportunities paid for by TREC.
