The ideal candidate for Cable Technician must be reliable and enthusiastic with determination to grow and prosper in the infrastructure field both personally and professionally.
In order to support and grow into our above referenced offerings - What You’ll Do Here…
- Maintain the company’s high standard of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship, customer relations, team members, behavior, and appearance.
- Learn to install, terminate, and test low voltage cables, fiber optic cables.
- Assist in installation of communications hardware.
- Route cable through conduit, above ceilings and between floors per job specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using power tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Read and comprehend technical schematics, operation manuals, maintenance instructions and procedures.
- Complete projects within budget, on time and in a safe manner
- Submit required paperwork (timesheets, expense reports, customer deliverables, etc.) on time.
- Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned including lots of learning.

At times, this job can be physical and may require climbing ladders, pulling, lifting, and bending.
Work Hours and Travel...
- Full time - we operate during standard business hours, Monday-Friday for many projects, however we occasionally adjust the workdays to work after-hours and weekends if customers require it.
- Our focus is regional but most work is in Omaha.
Qualifications
- All skill levels are needed and pay will be based on previous experience/qualifications.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record and clean background check including E-Verify
- Ability to pass drug screenings.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Work experience, trade school, BICSI and other technology certifications are a plus.
- Basic (industry standard) hand tools necessary to perform required work.
