About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with expertise in business process mapping, Databricks architecture, data governance, process consulting, and Agile program/project management. The ideal candidate will drive large-scale data and cloud initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives while managing technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program & Project Management
- Lead end-to-end program/project delivery using Agile, Scrum, and hybrid methodologies.
- Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, data science, and business teams.
2. Databricks & Data Architecture
- Design and optimize Azure Databricks architecture for scalable data processing and analytics.
- Define data modeling strategies (dimensional, relational, NoSQL) to support business needs.
- Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Develop Data Governance Roadmaps and Blueprints for enterprise-wide adoption.
3. Business Process Mapping & Consulting
- Analyze and document as-is/to-be business processes, identifying automation and optimization opportunities.
- Drive process consulting initiatives to improve efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Align technical solutions with business goals through stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering.
4. Stakeholder & Leadership
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business leaders, translating complex concepts into actionable insights.
- Present program updates, risks, and strategic recommendations to executives.
- Mentor teams on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8 years in Technical Program/Project Management, with expertise in Azure Databricks, data architecture, and governance.
- Strong experience in business process mapping, process consulting, and workflow optimization.
- Hands-on knowledge of data modeling (ETL, Lakehouse, Delta Lake), SQL, and big data technologies.
- Certifications in Agile (SAFe, PMI-ACP), Databricks, Azure, or TOGAF are a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data mesh/fabric architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and MLOps.
- Familiarity with AI/ML workflows in Databricks.
