Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Technical Product Manager with a deep understanding of AWS cloud services to join our team in Seattle. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record of delivering successful cloud-based products. You will be responsible for defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap while collaborating closely with engineering and architecture teams.
Responsibilities:
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and leveraging AWS Databricks capabilities.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the cloud market.
- Develop detailed product requirements and user stories, translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and operations teams to deliver high-quality cloud-based products.
- Prioritize features based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to drive product improvements and optimize cloud costs.
- Manage product launch and lifecycle, including go-to-market strategies and post-launch support.
- Foster a cloud-centric product culture and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on cloud-based products.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling cloud products.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing, particularly AWS services (EC2, S3, EMR, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, etc.).
- Experience with cloud architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps)
- Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
