Seasonal Parking Attendant

The Parking Attendant reports to the Hospitality Manager in tandem with the Assistant Hospitality Managers and will be responsible for up to but not limited to supporting the flow of incoming and departing guests, monitoring the lot and facility, ensuring clean grounds. This person will provide excellent guest perception and optimum working conditions by maintaining both beautiful and functional facilities to help carry out our overall mission to make the best beverages in the world and to serve them in the most friendly and memorable environment possible. This is a seasonal position starting immediately, through the week of Labor Day with the potential for the role to extend, based on business needs/individual performance.

We are looking for weekend availability as well as availability on race days / SPAC concert dates. This position pays $15.50/hr with 1.5x pay on Sundays.

As a Parking Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Welcoming guests onto the property and maintain a presence outside and making yourself present and available to guests for questions, concerns, or rides to their car
• Providing a welcoming, polite, clean, educated experience for all guests
• Providing information calmly and professionally to guests on where to appropriately park their vehicle
• Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized.
• Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary
• Professionally and tactfully letting guests know if they are violating a Tree House policy for example, open cans on premises or parking in undesignated areas
• Maintain proper signage in correct places around the facility

Role Requirements:

• 6 months of professional experience
• Weekend availability required
• You are driven, self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with a focused and hard working attitude
• A quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervision
• Ability to work comfortably outdoors in all seasons
• An innate helpful nature and a desire to be a strong, reliable team player with a willingness to go the extra mile
• Ability to multitask and work coolly and professionally in time sensitive situations
• Must have good communication skills with the ability to both receive and delegate tasks amongst the Parking team
• Must be able to tactfully communicate with guests including a warm greeting to de-escalating conflicts
• Must be able to meet deadlines or communicate when deadlines cannot be met
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and/or pivot plans quickly in order to coordinate corrective actions needed
• Meticulous attention to detail when it comes to keeping the grounds clean
• Must be punctual and responsible with one’s time
• You are not afraid to speak your mind
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday
