We are a family owned and operated tree service that has proudly served the Morris County and surrounding area for over 40 years. We are seeking a reliable Office Assistant to join our team on either a full time or part time basis! Hourly rate would range from $17-$19 per hour depending on experience.
This role includes a variety of office responsibilities ranging from answering customer calls and emails, filing, and basic bookkeeping.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Phone and email communication with customers
- Taking messages and/or routing calls or emails as needed
- Organize and manage estimates and approved work orders
- Processing credit card payments
- Basic Bookkeeping: Receiving/entering payments into QuickBooks
- Filing paperwork
- Primary goal is to keep office running smoothly and ability to manage different administrative needs of a busy office.
Requirements / Skills:
- Provide excellent customer service through client contact and client follow up as needed
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks
- Prior experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience with customer service / office administration
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
