Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing tree care services, including trimming, pruning, and removal of trees in various environments. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and tree care techniques, as well as the ability to operate equipment such as bucket trucks and rigs safely. The Tree Climber will work closely with a team to ensure high-quality service delivery while maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Operate bucket trucks and other machinery safely to access trees at various heights.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities, ensuring the health and aesthetics of trees and gardens.
- Assess tree health and provide recommendations for care or removal as needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize GIS technology for mapping and planning tree care activities when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or tree care is preferred.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and safe climbing practices.
- Ability to operate bucket trucks and other relevant machinery safely is a plus.
- Knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and proper care techniques.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety in all operations.
- Certification in arboriculture or related fields is a plus but not required.

Pay: $250.00 - $275.00 per day

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
