What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position at Tree of Life Arizona?
Behavioral Health Residential Facility is actively seeking a BHT who has a passion of being a positive role model and influencing male youth, in a constructive way, while working in a healthy supportive environment.
BHT seeking employment will be working with adolescent males 12-17 years of age. The adolescents are in need of structure, consistency, nurturing and mature role modeling. Candidates must be able to implement treatment goals and objectives while ensuring each adolescent's daily Health, Safety and Welfare. All candidates must comply with all company policies, procedures, and training.
Qualifications for BHT (behavioral health technician): Bachelor's degree in a social related field with no experience or Bachelor's degree in any field with 1-year experience, or an Associate's degree with 2 years of experience, or High School (GED) degree with 4 years of experience. Prefer experience working with at-risk youth. Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills, strong leadership, must be able to obtain Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card, and Criminal Background Checks. Must be 25 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and 39-month clean driving record.
Shift Hours are: Thursday 2:15pm-11:15pm, Friday 2:15pm-9:15pm and Every Other Saturday 8:15am-8:30pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
