What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker position at Tree-Ripe Fruit Co.?
Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. is a seasonal produce company delivering the best fruit from the best regions to our customers throughout the Midwest. We're looking to add a warehouse worker to assist in our day to day operations.
This is a fast paced position which includes: inventory management, forklift operation, loading and unloading of trucks, communication with drivers and Route Coordinators, snow removal and lawn care, and cleaning/upkeep of facility.
Qualities we're looking for:
Our warehouse workers must be: punctual, self-motivated, a good communicator, forklift certified, and organized. This position requires a person who is a positive and proactive team member, is adaptable, and willing to work a non-traditional schedule. Commercial drivers license preferred, but not required (additional compensation provided for CDL drivers).
Hours and Compensation
$20-25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The time requirements are directly tied to the seasonality of our business. As our company is involved in agriculture, the workload is determined by the season, product, and harvest schedule. This means that while certain months require more hours, others require much less. This results in a more flexible schedule for the majority of the year.
