Operations Management Internship

The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college / university pursuing an Operations Management, Engineering, or Business degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA. The incumbent should have a strong motivation to build their career in their field of study.

This full-time, paid Internship will begin in May / June 2025. Start / end dates are flexible to meet school schedule.

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

• Exposure to manufacturing facility, quality, production, human resource, finance and food safety aspects of industry
• Gain a better understanding of customers, products, purchasing, sanitation, and safe quality foods (SQF)
• Fundamentals of Management - Supervision of employees, delegation, paperwork, and daily operations
• Evaluate, update and / or write standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment and processes, employee training manuals, process flow diagrams (PFDs), supervisor handbook
• Provide manufacturing information and provide recommendations on best practices and improvements by researching, compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.
• Create and revise systems, procedures, paperwork and processes by analyzing operating practices and recommending changes
• Intern will spend time working in all areas of the plant, with at least 2-4 weeks focused within their educational discipline for professional development.
