What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tree Service Crew Member position at Tree Worx LLC?
Highly preferable to have tree work experience and a CDL, but not required.
Applicants with experience operating skid steers, loaders, excavators, and stump grinders, grapple trucks, and tree service are strongly encouraged to apply.
We are a local tree service company that is seeking a qualified individual to join our team. Applicants must possess a driver's license, have a clean driving record, and be approved for coverage by our insurance company. This position is full time. Opportunity for overtime may be available. Hourly compensation will be determined based on work experience and qualifications. This job will require the applicant to be outdoors working with a tree service crew year around. Qualified applicants must be physically able to perform manual labor outdoors in all weather conditions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work on a crew outdoors to perform tree work.
- Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, work site and traffic laws.
- Complete work projects on time and in an effective manner.
- Inform management and mechanics for major repairs or maintenance.
- Perform daily inspections.
- Keep equipment clean.
- Adhere to all company safety standards.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be physically able to push/pull/drag brush and logs.
- Use equipment safely and properly.
- Consistently at work and on time.
- Demonstrated ability to work around trees safely and efficiently.
- Follow instructions, respond to management direction.
- Meet productivity standards; complete work in timely manner.
- Commit to longer hours of work when needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Safely operate chainsaws, wood chippers, and various heavy equipment.
- Competent in required job skills.
- Knowledge and skills of tree pruning and removals.
- Prioritize and plan work day efficiently.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
- Experience pulling and backing a trailer.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
