Job Summary:
The Floating Aid Early Educator supports early childhood education classrooms by assisting teachers in various age groups and classrooms as needed. This role ensures a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment while providing flexibility to meet the needs of the center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead and assistant teachers in multiple classrooms, adapting to different age groups and learning environments.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Assist with daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and transitions.
- Follow curriculum guidelines and assist in implementing lesson plans as directed by the lead teacher.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Provide coverage for staff absences, breaks, or other needs across the center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or early childhood education coursework preferred).
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is a plus.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Enhanced Background check.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible hours based on center needs.
- May require working with infants, toddlers, preschool, and Pre-K children.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
