Our client is redefining the EV charging experience by providing cutting-edge solutions for forward-thinking enterprises. Combining hardware and software expertise with a deep understanding of Enterprise SaaS, they offer an end-to-end EV charging platform tailored to meet the needs of diverse businesses. As they expand their presence and impact, they seek a Channel Sales Manager to create and nurture relationships with value-added resellers (VARs) in the clean energy sector, equip them with necessary training, and, ultimately, help them sell.

This person must be based on the US West Coast (ideally SoCal, Phoenix, or Las Vegas).

Responsibilities :

  • Identify, onboard, and train commercial VARs in the clean energy sector on the West Coast, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives and verticals
  • Maintain clear parameters for VAR performance, keeping them focused on targeted verticals and customer bases
  • Equip VARs with the knowledge and tools to effectively generate leads, scope projects and close sales
  • Guide VARs through the sales cycle, ensuring seamless handoff and collaboration on closing deals
  • Drive revenue growth by prioritizing high-potential markets and customers
  • Ensure all channel activities align with company goals and regional opportunities
  • Collaborate with VARs to communicate product offerings, ROI, and technical solutions to end customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with a broader set of commercial customers

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-7 years of experience in channel sales in the clean energy industry or similar field
  • Expertise in managing and enabling VARs to achieve sales objectives
  • Strong closer with the ability to seal deals directly and collaboratively
  • Capable of navigating a complex sales cycle, including ROI communication and technical explanations
  • Deep understanding of clean energy technologies and commercial customer needs
  • Familiarity with capital expense models and high-value deal structuring
  • Willingness to travel within the Southern California, Nevada, and Arizona regions
  • Compensation : Targeting a base salary of $120-$135k with OTE of $250-$275k

    Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
