What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Physical Therapist - Part-Time position at Treehouse Pediatric Therapy?
Description
Are you looking for a pediatric outpatient clinic that will challenge you? A clinic where you can grow your skill set? A clinic defined by a culture of therapist excellence, retention and collaboration? A clinic that has a trusted brand? A clinic that differentiates itself through specialized offerings? Read on then.
Treehouse Pediatric Therapy has an immediate need for 1-2 part-time pediatric physical therapist(s), willing to work between 5-20 hours per week. This position has been created due to growth in our Woodridge clinic, the opening of our Batavia clinic and a move of one our existing PTs to add in a pelvic floor focus.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, independent, confident physical therapist that has been in a pediatric therapy setting, either in their graduate clinicals or professional experience. Our physical therapy caseload is extremely varied and challenging, with diagnoses ranging from torticollis, orthopedic conditions, serial casting, gait impairment, developmental delay, and neurological conditions.
Treehouse's PT team distinguishes itself from other clinics that it is the leading and reputable provider in the state of Illinois for pediatric pelvic floor health, for kids ages 5-18. We have established referral relationships with the top pediatric GIs and Urologists in the state. The training and development of a pelvic floor health caseload is an option, but not a requirement for this position.
Our PT department is led by the owner, a PT since 1998, who founded Treehouse in 2012. The current PT team has five experienced physical therapists, two of whom are focused on pelvic floor health. They are joined by a team of six occupational therapists and six speech therapists. The total clinical team is 17 therapists and they are supported by a front desk team of five professionals.
A Sign On Bonus is available for candidates willing to start by January 1st, 2020. The Sign On Bonus will vary depending on number of hours and experience level.
