POSITION OVERVIEW
While on duty, the Front Office Supervisor will supervise the operations of the front office and guest services. The Front Office Supervisor will provide support, training, and tools for the front office staff following SH Hotels and Resorts procedures. All responsibilities shall be carried out in a timely, accurate, and professional manner, in accordance with SH core values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises daily front office functions to sustain courteous and professional guest service levels
Resolve guest complaints in a satisfactory manner
Maximize daily room sales
Coordinate daily group arrival/departure preparation, special requests, room assignments and guest amenity programs, including the Mission program service standards.
Support and comply with company’s reservation program
Support and comply with the principles of the VIP Upgrade program
Follow up with front office staff on daily shift and individual duties
Perform verbal instruction and guidance compliant with the company’s policy
Complete daily public area walks and complete manager on duty reports
Support and comply with hotel policy and company policy in matters concerning accounting, credit and cash handling
Complete all items as listed on shift checklists
Responsible for maintaining front office/lobby appearance while on duty
Maintain proper collateral and supply inventory to support all appropriate front office activities
Coordinate relocation of guests when necessary
Various duties and projects as directed by hotel management
Support and comply with all company brand standards, including rewards program
Ensure Front Office complies with company’s fire and emergency procedures

Be knowledgeable of policies regarding personnel in accordance with Team Member Handbook and Brand SOPs
Ensures the environment in the Front Office supports our core values and encourages fun in the workplace
Provide inspirational leadership to enliven the Treehouse Vision and Values; provide Good-Natured Service and uphold our Brand Standards
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
REQUIRED:
Previous hotel Front Office experience
Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English (speak, read, write)
Ability to accurately compute and manipulate mathematical calculations
Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision
Previous experience in cash handling preferred
Computer knowledge in Windows environment as well as proficiency in property management system
Ability to work a variety of varying schedules including early mornings, late nights, overnights, weekends and holidays
