Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, answer phones, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service within the restaurant or hotel environment. A passion for hospitality and excellent guest services is essential to succeed in this position.
Duties
- Welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and a smile.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Assist in managing guest relations by addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Utilize Toast POS or other point-of-sale systems to manage to-go orders as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that each guest feels valued and appreciated.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or food service is preferred.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and enhancing guest experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
